Katelyn McLain, BS, Community Support Specialist

Katelyn McLain, BS, Community Support Specialist in Jacksonville, FL, has been working with The Bindu Institute since February of 2021. She graduated from California State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Commercial Recreation and Tourism and Recreation Therapy. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and Registered Yoga Teacher.
Katelyn’s past work experience includes positions such as a Behavior Technician at Invo Healthcare-Progressus Therapy, Yoga Instructor at Yoga 4 Change, Rehabilitation Therapist at Northeast Florida State Hospital, Cabin Head Counselor at Bradford Woods, and worked as a Nanny to a newborn and young toddler. Through these experiences she has had to opportunity to work with youth on the Autism spectrum, provide individual and group therapeutic programming for geriatric population, guide military veterans recovering from substance abuse through a purpose driven yoga curriculum, and provide meticulous and therapeutic care for children and adults with physical and cognitive diagnoses and chronic illness.
Katelyn is a very sweet, kind, and easy-going person that has a well-rounded skill set to assist the warriors she works with through the challenges they have and work to achieve the goals they set for themselves.
