Joseph Brooks, MS, Community Support Specialist

Joseph Brooks, MS, Community Support Specialist in Tampa, FL, has worked with The Bindu Institute since November of 2018.  He graduated from The University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and from The University of South Florida with a Master of Science in Exercise Science.  He currently serves the Army Reserves and works as a nurse full time.

Joseph has experience working in a variety of settings involving health and wellness.  He previously worked as a Strength Coach at the University of West Florida Rugby Strength & Conditioning, a Strength & Conditioning Intern at the University of South Alabama, and a Cardiac Rehab Intern at Florida Hospital Tampa.  He is certified in Basic Life Support and Personal Training.

Joseph’s demeaner provides a calming presence.  He is a good listener without providing judgement.  He has worked well with those who have struggled with anger management.  He enjoys working out and participating in Strongman Competitions.​
