Meredith McQuagge, MA
Meredith McQuagge, MA, is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern who earned her master’s and second bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of West Florida after her military service. She holds an additional bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of North Texas.
As a combat veteran, purple heart recipient, and military spouse, Meredith is well versed in the demands and stress of military service life. She has worked with Active Duty, Veterans, and civilians in inpatient residential care for both addiction and other mental health problems and has experience providing treatment to individuals, couples, and families.
Meredith believes in a pragmatic, person centered, and nonjudgemental approach. She is practiced in cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and uses interventions from solution focused therapy, gestalt therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and behavioral modification techniques to collaboratively provide the help and support you are looking for.
